bitRage is the arbitrage area for users running a bitRage backend. It focuses on price differences rather than normal single-pair strategy trading.

What you can do here

Use bitRage to:

  • Connect to a local or remote bitRage backend.
  • Check whether the backend is connected and ready.
  • Review scanner output for arbitrage opportunities.
  • Work in paper mode before live operation.
  • Monitor triangular, inter-exchange, and futures basis workflows.
  • Review arbitrage trades, positions, and status messages.

The page is most useful when you already understand which backend you are connecting to and whether you are reviewing paper or live activity.

Home and backend connection

The Home area shows backend connection state and mode. Check this first. Arbitrage output is only meaningful when the backend, exchange access, and mode are clear.

Paper mode is useful for watching scanner quality and behavior without live execution. Live mode requires more care because exchange credentials, balances, fees, and limits become part of the result.

Triangular arbitrage

Triangular arbitrage looks for paths inside one exchange. Use this area to see which exchange is scanned, which triangles are checked, where opportunities appear, and how the scanner is behaving.

The analysis and settings areas help you review whether the scanner is producing useful candidates or only noise after fees and precision limits.

Inter-exchange arbitrage

Inter-exchange arbitrage compares prices across exchanges. Use this area when you care about spreads between venues, balances on each exchange, open positions, and execution history.

This workflow depends heavily on fees, transfer constraints, liquidity, and exchange access. Treat the dashboard as an operating view, not just an opportunity list.

Futures basis arbitrage

The futures area focuses on spot and perpetual futures basis opportunities. Use it to review positions, spread, funding context, margin, estimated PnL, and close reasons.

How bitRage fits the workflow

Use bitRage when the opportunity is a price difference between markets or venues. Use the normal Dashboard, Chart, Trading Settings, and Backtesting pages for strategy trading on configured Gunbot pairs.
