Settings is the control area for the app environment around your trading workflow. It covers license state, connected Gunbot instances, exchange slots, interface preferences, notifications, security, and devices.

What you can do here

Use Settings to:

  • Check license and activation status.
  • Add or manage Gunbot instance connection profiles.
  • Review exchange slots and exchange credentials.
  • Set app-wide trading defaults where available.
  • Adjust interface preferences.
  • Configure notifications and integrations.
  • Review security and device access.

Settings influences the environment your pages use. Pair strategy work still belongs in Trading Settings, Chart, Backtesting, Risk Management, AutoConfig, or Code Editor depending on the task.

Gunbot instance connections

Connection profiles tell the app which Gunbot instance to talk to. If you use more than one instance, check the selected connection before editing pairs or reading performance.

A local instance and a remote instance can have different pairs, balances, strategies, and logs. The selected connection defines what the rest of the app is showing.

Exchange slots

Exchange slots are where exchange access and exchange-level details are managed. Review these when adding or changing exchange access, using testnet or demo settings, or checking fee and rate-limit related details.

Exchange settings can affect the pairs that depend on them, so read any cleanup or confirmation dialog before saving.

Interface, notifications, and security

Interface preferences change how information is displayed. Notification settings control how activity can reach you outside the app. Security and device sections help you review access and account hygiene.

How Settings fits the workflow

Use Settings to prepare the environment. Once the connection, exchange access, and app preferences are correct, use the trading pages for pair setup, performance review, strategy testing, automation, and live inspection.
