Can I Use Gunbot Simulator Mode for Futures Trading?
No. Gunbot simulator mode is for spot trading. To get familiar with a futures strategy without using real funds, start with Gunbot Live backtesting instead.
Simulator mode forward-tests a complete spot Gunbot instance against current market data with virtual balances and simulated execution. It does not provide a futures simulation environment.
Gunbot Live can backtest supported futures strategies using historical data. A futures backtest lets you inspect the strategy's trades, drawdown, return, and other available statistics without placing real futures orders.
Before real futures trading, set the exchange position mode, leverage, margin, and strategy sizing for the setup you plan to run. Use the individual futures strategy pages for strategy-specific behavior.
