What can Gunbot Agents do?

Gunbot Agents connects AI assistance to your Gunbot instance. It can review recorded trading activity, help inspect pair behavior, prepare settings or Add Pair drafts, develop custom JavaScript strategies and explain native spot strategy comparisons.

Does Agents trade or change settings automatically?

Agents prepares explanations, code and proposals. Pair overrides require review and confirmation in the settings editor. A new pair proposal opens a draft in Add Pair. Native strategy comparisons simulate alternatives and do not automatically switch your live strategy.

Do I need to know JavaScript?

You can review activity, prepare settings and compare native strategies without writing JavaScript. For custom strategies, describe the rules you want, then inspect and test the generated code. The strategy development workflow connects the conversation to Code Editor, saved versions and Backtesting.

Is AI usage included without limits?

Connect your own AI provider and choose a compatible model. Provider API usage may incur separate charges, according to your account and model. Gunbot Unlimited includes the Agents workflow; it does not promise free or unlimited third-party model usage.

Local operational checks and the native comparison engine can operate without an AI request. AI explanations and strategy generation use the configured provider.

What data is sent to the provider?

AI requests send your text and filtered evidence from the selected Gunbot context to the configured provider. Custom strategy code and test details are included when you attach them. The provider key remains on the Gunbot server. This is separate from where your exchange API secrets are stored.

What if Agents is unavailable on my bot?

Use a current, compatible Gunbot backend and workspace. If the interface reports missing Agents endpoints, update the selected installation and reconnect. If provider settings cannot be loaded, check connectivity before assuming your saved provider details have been removed.

How is this different from a separate ChatGPT session?

Agents can use the selected pair’s filtered state, settings, recorded activity and documented strategy parameters. Its proposals connect to Gunbot’s review tools, and strategy conversations can receive the exact tested code and run evidence. You do not have to manually reconstruct that context in a separate chat.
