Gunbot Unlimited and Bitsgap both automate crypto trading, but Unlimited runs its trading engine on a computer or VPS controlled by the user, while Bitsgap is a cloud platform connected through exchange APIs. Bitsgap emphasizes a template-first web workflow, demo trading, and hosted analytics.

Deployment and security​

Unlimited's trading engine runs on the selected installation. Hosted Unlimited Live gives browser access to connected installations and can run many supported backtests on Unlimited servers; local Unlimited Live is included in the main download. Secrets remain configured per installation.

Bitsgap is cloud-based. Its security documentation says API keys are encrypted, delivered to its server, limited to balance/history/trading permissions, and rejected if withdrawal is enabled. This is non-custodial at the exchange-funds level, but it is not local credential custody.

Pricing and limits​

Gunbot Unlimited costs $29/month and includes the current Unlimited feature set, custom JavaScript, backtesting, and unlimited registered exchange keys within supported venues.

Bitsgap lists Basic at $29 monthly ($23 annual equivalent), Advanced at $69 ($55 annual), and Pro at $149 ($119 annual). The active-bot limits are 3 Grid/10 DCA on Basic, 10 Grid/50 DCA on Advanced, and 50 Grid/250 DCA on Pro. Current pricing also lists backtest windows of up to 30 days, 180 days, and 365 days respectively. All plans have a seven-day Pro trial.

Strategies, customization, and testing​

Unlimited provides grid, DCA, indicator-based, liquidity-provider builder modes, scalping, trailing, futures strategies, AutoConfig, custom JavaScript, TradingView alerts, backtesting, and a spot Simulator mode. Simulator mode does not model futures leverage, margin, liquidation, funding, or futures position handling.

Bitsgap documents GRID, Buy The Dip, DCA, LOOP, COMBO, DCA Futures, AI Assistant, Smart Orders, and Demo mode. Demo mode uses virtual funds and live market prices; it is separate from live exchange trading. Bitsgap provides form-based bot configuration and does not document a general-purpose embedded scripting engine.

Exchange coverage​

Unlimited's current supported-exchange documentation lists 26 connectors, including Binance, Bybit, Bitget, OKX, Kraken, KuCoin, Coinbase Advanced Trade, dYdX, and Hyperliquid. Each connector has its own spot/futures availability.

Bitsgap's current exchange page lists 18 venues, including Aster, Binance, Binance US, Bitfinex, Bitget, BitMart, Coinbase Advanced, Crypto.com, EVEDEX, Gate.io, Gemini, HTX, Hyperliquid, Kraken, KuCoin, OKX, Poloniex, and WhiteBIT. Feature availability varies by exchange.

Best fit​

Choose Gunbot Unlimited when local operation, custom code, configurable strategy logic, and broad supported-venue access are priorities. Choose Bitsgap when you prefer a hosted dashboard, demo mode, guided templates, and vendor-managed infrastructure.
