Why Does Gunbot Show USDT-BTC Instead of BTC/USDT?

Gunbot uses its own pair notation. USDT-BTC refers to the BTC/USDT market that many exchanges display as BTC/USDT.

For common spot markets:

  • USDT-BTC means the BTC/USDT market.
  • USDT-ETH means the ETH/USDT market.

When Gunbot Live provides a searchable market list, select the market there instead of typing the symbol yourself. If you do need to enter a pair manually, use Gunbot notation exactly.

Some derivatives exchanges can keep independent long and short positions for the same market. Gunbot may show those sides as separate pair names:

USDT-BTC-LONG
USDT-BTC-SHORT

Keep the -LONG or -SHORT suffix when Gunbot Live shows it because each side can have its own configuration and position.

See Futures in Gunbot Live for Gunbot futures setup.
