Gunbot Installation Guide for Windows

Use this guide to download, unzip, and run Gunbot on Windows.

This guide assumes you are familiar with basic Windows operations like downloading and extracting files.

Step 1: Download Gunbot for Windows​

Download the latest Windows build of Gunbot from the Gunbot downloads page. Look for the file named gunthy_windows.zip and download it to your computer.

Step 2: Unzipping the Downloaded File​

After downloading, extract the file. Locate gunthy_windows.zip, right-click it, and select "Extract All" (or a similar option). This creates a new folder named gunthy_windows containing the files to run Gunbot.

Step 3: Launching Gunbot​

Move the gunthy_windows folder to your preferred location. Then, open the folder, find gunthy-win.exe, right-click it, and choose "Run as administrator" to start Gunbot.

If a Windows security prompt appears, click "More info" and then "Run anyway."

Step 4: Accessing the Gunbot GUI​

When Gunbot launches, a console window appears. Look for the message "GUI Server Deployed: http://localhost:3000" to confirm the GUI is available. Open your browser and go to http://localhost:3000.

For first-time access, set a password when prompted.
