How RSI Fits into Trading Bot Logic
RSI is best used as a condition inside a larger strategy. A bot can wait for RSI to move into oversold territory before looking for a buy, or watch for overbought readings before tightening exit logic. The key is context. In a strong trend, RSI can stay elevated or depressed for longer than expected, so the most practical setups use it together with price action, moving averages, or trailing rules. In strong trends, it still has value, but mostly as a supporting signal rather than a standalone trigger. A practical Gunbot setup might use RSI to avoid poor entries, delay extra buys, or confirm that a pullback has gone far enough to be worth acting on. This keeps the indicator useful without forcing it to explain every market move.
